5 Reasons why use Notion.

In today's article, I share 5 Reasons why use Notion.

Notion Notion has been my go-to productivity tool since 2020, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Notion has a wide workspace that allows you to organize your tasks, notes, projects, and even your entire life in a single app (joke). I’ve tried other tools, like Trello, and even simpler and minimalist ones like Transo.

However, Notion is my way to go when it comes to taking notes or organizing things. In this article, I’ll share why I think you should give Notion a try.

My first and foremost important reason out of the 5 reasons why use Notion is Customizability, however, there are 4 more in this article. So let’s dive in:

  1. Customizability Notion is incredibly customizable. You can create a workspace that perfectly fits your needs, no matter what they are. With its drag-and-drop interface, you can create databases, tables, calendars, and so much more. You can also customize the layout and design of your workspace to make it look and feel just the way you want it. For me, this customizability has been a game-changer. With zero knowledgeable web development, I used to use my iPhone Notes before. Now I use Notion to manage everything from my work projects to my personal goals, and being able to create a workspace that suits me perfectly has made all the difference. I have different databases for different aspects of my life, and I can easily switch between them depending on what I need to work on. This has helped me stay organized and focused, and I can’t imagine going back to a system that doesn’t allow me this level of customization. This is my first and foremost important reasons out of the 5 reasons why I use Notion.

  2. All-In-One Productivity Tool Notion is an all-in-one productivity tool. Whether you’re a student, a freelancer, or a web developer, Notion can help you stay on top of your tasks and projects. It has everything you need to manage your schedule, track your goals, collaborate with your team, and keep all your important information in one place. One of my favorite features of Notion is its ability to create linked databases. For example, I have a database for my client’s work and another database for my weekly goals. I can link the two databases so that each work project is linked to the weekly goal it’s associated with. This means that when I’m working on a project for a client, I can easily see how it fits into my larger goals for the week. This has helped me stay focused on what’s important and has made it easier for me to prioritize my tasks. I also have a record table for all the financial monthly incomes and outcomes. I created a calculator app in GitHub, which you can check out here and I embedded it in my folder. I also wrote an article here if you want to see how it was done.

  3. Versatility Notion is incredibly versatile. It can be used for just about anything. You can use it to plan your next vacation, keep track of your fitness goals, manage your budget as I mention early, or even write an article. Actually, this article was written with Notion before publishing it here. Notion’s flexibility is what makes it stand out from other productivity tools. I am diminishing other tools as I mentioned above that this is my go-to tool. For me, the versatility of Notion has been a huge selling point. I love that I can use it for both work and personal tasks. It’s also great for keeping track of things like code snippets as it has already a markdown option for coding. I have a database for the most used codes, and I always know where to find the information when I need it.

  4. Collaboration Notion is great for collaboration. You can invite others to your workspace, and collaborate on projects in real time. Notion makes it easy to communicate with your team, assign tasks, and keep everyone on the same page. Collaboration is key in any workplace, and Notion makes it easy to work together. I use Notion to let the clients add their ideas and they are thrilled to see the progress of their ideas coming to reality. Notion also has a “share to web” option which let you share the project or the article you are working on so that other can see it. This way you can receive feedback in no time. This has made it so much easier for me to work together with others, even when we’re not in the same location.

  5. Affordability Notion is affordable and it cost only 4$/month at the time I write this article. You can get started with the free plan, which includes all the basic features. If you need more advanced features, you can upgrade to the paid plan, which is still very affordable compared to other productivity tools.

Recap:

• Customizability Notion has a drag-and-drop interface, you can create databases, tables, or calendars for instance. A customizable layout that you can design and make look and feel just the way you want it.

• All-In-One Productivity Tool It is a productivity tool that can help you manage your schedule, track your goals, collaborate with your team, and keep all your important information in one place.

• Versatility It makes it a standout as a productivity tool that can be used for a wide variety of tasks, from personal goal tracking to professional project management. Its markdown option makes it suitable for keeping track of code snippets.

• Collaboration It is a powerful tool for productivity, organization, and collaboration. Its flexibility and collaboration features make it a go-to tool for personal and professional tasks alike.

• Affordability In comparison to other tools, its price is similar to two coffees in Spain. You can Download Notion here* *Disclaimer: I have no affiliate account with Notion.

These are my 5 Reasons why use Notion. I hope it helps you down the road of your coding journey.
