Writing was bad before AI. Content farms, fake news, fabricated Pulitzer Prize stories — mediocrity was always the default. ChatGPT didn't create the problem, it just scaled it. The real antidote isn't less AI — it's more expertise, more voice, and more judgment before hitting publish.
