The MCP Server Nobody Warned You About: stdout, Errors, and Why Rust Wins

Rust is a better language for MCP than TypeScript, but it has its own problems. Rust has a problem with the way it uses the protocol channel. The error messages sent by MCP tools are not sent into a log file, but to an AI model. This means they are not showing up in a terminal for a human developer.
