The Patient Digital Twin Has No Inner Life and That Is a Design Failure

Healthcare is getting very good at building digital representations of the body. But the patient inside these systems is still strangely incomplete. We need systems that are capable of registering emotional load, sensory tolerance, cognitive fatigue, and changes in self perception.
